Am I the only one that likes to play old missions like, chapter 5 missions, and the missions with the legendary gator, the one where Arthur gets kidnapped and the ending to chapter four to give Arthur a sense of PTSD and make his story just that bit sader
Now this is of course an opinion, so take this with a grain of salt and please state your opinion of what you think happened to Dutch. But in this post, I'll discuss what could have happened to Dutch that made him into the insane psychopath murderer and outlaw he was at the end of RDR2 and during the original Red Dead Redemption.
So, there are two sides of course to what could have happened to Dutch and it's those two that most people of course choose between. One is the "Dutch changed from a good leader with morals to a blood hungry murderer" and the other is "Dutch just showed his true colours, he was always like this and never a man of principle". Now, I have always been on the boat of Dutch having changed, but I have thought it through and I personally believe that it is a small mix of both. Dutch did have that darkness within him but he was always able to control his impulses and he always was a principled man who did believe what he preached to the gang. And one big part that always kept Dutch in check and challenged him was of course good ole Hosea.
Now, there are other reasons that I will delve into that could be a catalyst for Dutch changing and his dark impulses coming out more:
Blackwater: This is undoubtly what started his struggles. The Blackwater Ferry job is what started the downfall of the Van der Linde gang, and one major moment that occured here was Dutch shooting mother Heidi McCourt in cold blood during the robbery. The reason for this is unclear, but it could be that Dutch was stressed and pressured into killing him by Micah, as Micah was "pressuring Dutch to kill her". Or maybe Dutch did because he could, whether he knew the reason for it or not. Why he killed Heidi is unclear but it is clear that him killing her had a big affect on him in some way. And the massive gunfight did have a affect on Dutch too in some way.
Some in the gang beginning to doubt him: The gang had always been a firm believer of Dutch's ideals and always had faith in him (besides Micah of course). But during the game and even at the beginning in both Chapter 1 and 2, some began to show doubts after what happened in Blackwater etc. This of course affects Dutch because he can't handle people not having faith in his abilities to lead them. Those who began to show doubts first are Hosea and John (that I think of at least). So people beginning to be unsure and doubtful of Dutch seems to have a affect on him.
The Pinkertons on their tail: Undoubtly having the Pinkertons on their tail and the law in general now with his now massive price on his head might put tons of pressure and stress on Dutch, which seems to get worse overtime as the gang causes more and more noise in Blackwater, Valentine, Strawberry, Rhodes, Saint Denis and Roanoke Ridge.
Micah's influence: Do I even need to explain this? Micah's presence and influence is certaintly something that affects Dutch the worst way as Micah tries to push Dutch to indulge in his dark impulses of murder and chaos.
Gang members dying: I mean... when 5 members of your gang are killed within a few months, it's definitely going to mess with you a bit I feel like. I'm talking of course about Jenny, Davey, Mac, Sean and Kieran.
Head injury during trolly station robbery: Now, I don't think this is what caused Dutch to fully go crazy, as some would think. But I do agree that this potential head injury or concussion he suffered might have had a affect in his thinking and emotions after he, Arthur and Lenny fell into a trap by Bronte who betrayed them, something that pisses Dutch right off.
His brutal murder of Bronte: Now this is where Dutch's emotions, impulses and dark side shine through, when he brutally drowns Bronte to death and then feeds him to a alligator, a action shocking his proteges John and Arthur.
Hosea and Lenny's murder: Hosea's death and the bank robbery going completely wrong definitely affected Dutch so much, especially Hosea's death, a man he looked at as a best friend and brother, someone who always was there for Dutch, kept him in check and loved so much like a brother. Shot as a unarmed prisoner in a brutal way. Lenny's death didn't help either, as while Dutch didn't have like a strong relationship with Lenny like he had with Hosea but Lenny was someone Dutch liked very much, sort of like a young Hosea in a sense who challenged Dutch's views and Dutch's obsession with Evelyn Miller.
Time in Guarma: Dutch wasn't fully able to process Hosea and Lenny's death as he, Arthur, Bill, Javier and Micah get stranded on Guarma for a while and fight to survive and get out. And also Dutch decides to brutally murder a old woman, who yes did threaten Dutch with a knife because he couldn't pay her back for her leading them to a entrance to the place Javier was held at, still decided to brutally murder her in front of Arthur.
His growing dillusion of believing John may be a rat, Arthur becoming sick and Micah's growing influence on Dutch with Hosea now gone: This is honestly self explanitory.
Hope this was easy to read through and understand and I hope I did a ok job explaining what happened to Dutch.
Does anyone still play? I believe that RDR1 will always be good and never get old, but what do you guys think?

Join the Van Der Linde gang just to earn profits as his gang was disbanded
Manipulate Dutch into robbing the ferry boat in Blackwater so that Micah could get rich and leave the gang and possibly start his own gang
Work with the Odriscolls and The Pinkertons to capture a gang member so that most of the gang comes to the rescue and then they would be surprised with not just the Odriscolls but the Pinkertons as well so that the Van Der Linde gang is killed in one fell swoop. He does this as Dutch’s gang is losing profits and he sees Dutch’s bounty which is very big and The Pinkertons are going to pay him very well for his efforts of capturing and killing most of the gang.
He hears That the Van Der Linde gang is going to rob a bank he is content with this idea since his cut is going to be possibly massive so that then he could leave the gang with the profits he has accumulated. And possibly start his own gang after he left the Van Der Linde gang
Get constantly into Dutch’s ear to go back for the Blackwater money he tries to manipulate Dutch saying is for the survival of the gang and freedom in another country. But actually, he just wants the money for himself possibly stealing it all betraying the gang, and staying in hiding for a while after he steals the gang’s heist. And again possibly starting his own gang.
After Guarma Micah is scared for his life as the Pinkertons and the authorities are closing into the Van Der Linde gang harder than ever. He now works directly with the Pinkertons instead of just as an informant of the Odriscolls who then gives the information to the Pinkertons but now he works directly giving them information on their plans and the state of the gang.
Try to kill the Van Der Linde gang after giving the location of the Van Der Linde’s gang hideout in Lakay. He obviously is going to get substantial money for being an informant.
Now that he has fully manipulated Dutch into believing him to be a very loyal enforcer and a great friend he sees this as an opportunity to win more cash as he convinces Dutch to do impulsive and destructive acts and tells Dutch false narratives continuously saying that Arthur and John are traitors and that all of Dutch’s impulsive plans is the right thing to do.
After the long-awaited and planned train robbery succeeds he plans to take his cut of the money with Dutch and leave the United States with him. He possibly will leave after he has successfully left the United States and possibly Force the boat captain to take him back while the gang stays in TAHITI.
Because of Arthur’s interference, his plan doesn’t work out as he would have wanted so he instead goes out to kill Arthur as Dutch fully believes that Arthur is a traitor and tries to gain a bigger trust within Dutch when he kills him. But instead of trusting him more, he sees Micah for who he really is and leaves much to Micah’s anger.
But it worked out better for him actually as he stole every last penny of the train robbery and regained the money from Blackwater has complete law immunity as he works with the Pinkertons and started his own gang, Just like he always wanted a lot of money complete law immunity and his own gang. But because he killed Arthur his past came back to haunt him which led to his death.
Additional Note: I think Micah when he was a rat was manipulating Dutch AND the Pinkertons as he wanted Dutch to do impulsive things because it benefits him and gets him more power in the gang and also destroying it. So more gang members dying Micah is just saying that the gang is rotting towards the pinkertons and they pay him for that for literally destroying the gang bit by bit. So when Micah was going to go to Tahiti he had complete control over Dutch and would completely manipulate him to do more destructive acts to get more money that benefits him. When he gets bored of Dutch he’ll just leave TAHITI to make his own Gang in The Us. But that’s just my theory

Not really sure where else to bring this up, but all of the Legendary Animals from Story Mode with three exceptions have names.
I noticed the wiki includes some of these names like Bharati, Tatanka, and Giaguaro in the titles though others are missing, I'd change the names myself if I could but regardless thought I'd bring them up and list them because it's interesting to see, imo:
Oryx - Legendary Boar
Malia - Legendary Beaver
Ira - Legendary Pronghorn
Lacartus - Legendary Bull Gator (this one is mentioned on the page)
Obie - Legendary Buck
Hotah - Legendary Wolf
Enyeto - Legendary Elk
Anoki - Legendary Moose
Suki - Legendary Coyote
Layla - Legendary Fox
These names would show up in-game, but most were removed in an update based off of what I've seen.

This game would be a masterpiece. It would be set in the GOlden Age of Piracy maybe around 1664.
Story: At first I thought it could be like GTA V with 3 playable protagonists, but I think just one would be good. The character could be a pirate who is only in his third years working on a crew. However, the captain already loves him, even more than the crew og's and his own criminal son. The crew has been around since 1650, and are wanted by the British, French, Spanish, and Dutch govts. The main villain would be a Lord Beckket inspired villain who is a higherup in the British East India Company. At the same time, the British, French, Spanish, and Dutch Navies are hot on the crews tail. Also there could be some opium trader dude who works with the crew, until it is revealed he betrayed them and sold them out to British. Maybe, there could also be a rival pirate crew, who is way more dishonorable and sadistic. The crew has lots of tension with each other, cuz of the protagonist being the captains favorite. Idk how the game would end, maybe yal have ideas.
Weapons: You enter the game with a basic cutlass and flintlock. You can upgrade your weapons and get better ones as you get more money. You also will have the ability to beat people up with your fists and brawl with dudes.
Drinks, Opium, Brothels and Gambling: Just like in Red Dead you can gamble in taverns. You should be able to play like cards or some kinds dice game in bars. Beer and rum can be purchased in taverns. Wine and brandy would be the most expensive liquor and can only be purchase in Social Clubs (taverns for annoying rich people). You will probably get thrown out of social clubs and refusing to leave will start a fight with the authorities. Brothels and prostitues could be interacted with, but brothels have there own rules, like if you hit the prostitute your honor will go down and you will prob start a fight with the brothel owners. You can also save prostitues like in rdr2 from abusive jerks. Opium can be smoked in pipes and the result will have your screen blury and hazy. After a few smokes, you will fall asleep and your health and focus bars will go down.
Honor system: I mentioned earlier about honor. Yes the game will have an honor bar. Doing acts like freeing slaves and raiding plantations and killing slave traders , donating to the poor, will increase your honor. Abusing animals etc will dramatically decrease your honor.
Crimes: You and the crew will probably do missions where you plunder or hijack rich merchant vessels. You can also rob banks on land and loot trading outposts. You can also kidnap and raid the mansions of evil businesspeople and slaveholders. On top of this, common missions would be treasure hunting and finding treasure chests. Pickpocketing and mugging is also possible.
Side missions: Side quests could be really simple like doing chores around the ship, or exploring islands and colonies. You could also have random encounters with people, who u can help or ignore. A side mission example would be getting hired by a local crime boss and smuggler to protect a shipment of stolen goods, of course it could go side ways and u would fight the cops.
Overall I think this game would be amazing. Any other ideas?
Don't the states seem kinda small? Like, if Saint Denis was to industrialize and grow a bit more, the entire Bayou Nwa region would be covered in urban jungle, same goes for Blackwater. I haven't seen or heard of any cities in the U.S. that have grown to cover an entire county.

Sorry for photo quality I cannot afford rdr2 on pc plus it is a crap pc.
I was playing Rdr1 earlier and was hearing a dog barking at the Pacific Union RR camp but couldn't find it, I searched on the Internet for this dog and Madam Nazer says a dog died there and the barking was the dog looking for it's owner
